Featuring the world’s highest tides—rising up to 16.5 metres—the Bay of Fundy draws not only land-bound travelers but marine as well. Over 15 species of dolphin and whales migrate to the area to feed in the nutrient-rich waters. Seals play, and migrating birds fly in formation overhead. For a real fun experience take a boat ride up the Shubenacadie River as the waters reverse from the pull of the tides.
